Freshmans currently holds a portfolio of strategically located land, mainly across Kampala and Wakiso, complemented by a member loan book and short-term money-market placements. Every acquisition passes through our Investment Committee and Board before capital is committed, and holdings are periodically marked to market so members always see a realistic picture of value.

Land Bank
Premium, well-documented land held for future development or resale, concentrated in high-growth corridors around Kampala and Wakiso.
Member Loan Book
Short-term, share-secured lending to members — a disciplined, low-risk complement to our land holdings.
Liquid Investments
Short-term instruments and money-market placements that keep a portion of the portfolio liquid and earning.
Planned estates, not slum development.
Our policy towards land development is to maintain standard, planned estate developments and minimise unplanned settlement. We periodically commission Environmental Impact Assessments and open up boundary surveys to guard against encroachment — a deliberate strategy to attract and retain quality clientele as we grow.
